Bring hands-on digital technologies programs to your school as a Deadly Coders school program partner

What's involved in being a school program partner?

Deadly Coders programs are amazing opportunities to bring hands-on digital technologies programs to your school! There are many options for program delivery, including 2-3 day face-to-face STEM workshops, term-length coding programs, in-school incursions, hackathons, bootcamps and online learning programs!  Students learn new skills and gain confidence in their problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Deadly Coders programs are fully subsidised – as a school program partner, you’ll be helping us find the students who can benefit the most from participating and learning about the amazing world of digital technologies. We’re expanding our program delivery to every state and territory across Australia, and we’re looking for schools with significant Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student populations to participate.

New programs are in the process of being scheduled, so if you’re interested in joining Deadly Coders as a School Program Partner, please register your interest below.

What programs are available?

Deadly Coders has a broad range of tech education programs that can be delivered at your school. Programs are suited to Primary, Secondary or school leaver students – discuss your goals with us, and we’ll match a program to the learning outcomes you’re aiming to achieve.

What resources will our school need to commit?

All of the Deadly Coders programs are fully subsidised by our generous corporate and government supporters. This means, as a School Program Partner, there are minimal resources needed on your behalf to deliver a program. Depending on the actual program being delivered, we may require access to a school computer lab, time allocation in your weekly or term timetable or sometimes require assistance bringing your students to the program delivery location, but we will discuss all of this with you as we finalise the details of the program being delivered as part of our partnership.

What will students learn in the classes?

Students will learn a range of hands-on coding and/or robotics concepts, which build applicable real-world skills like problem-solving, creative thinking, critical thinking and collaboration skills. Our programs are designed to start from introductory coding concepts, and build in complexity throughout the course. Topics are taught in a fun, hands-on way by skilled Instructors from Australia’s best universities, who love to teach and engage with students.

How can our school apply to become a Deadly Coders School Program Partner?

Simply fill out the registration form on our website, and we’ll be in touch! We’d like to understand a bit more about your school and the learning outcomes you’re looking to achieve for your students, so we can match this with the best program for your students.

Is there a cost to participate in the program?

All Deadly Coders programs are fully subsidised by our generous corporate partners. This means there is no cost to you or your students to participate in our programs.

What kind of time commitment is required?

You will need to make time in the teaching schedule for your students to participate. The time commitment for students will depend upon the format of the program being delivered. Options for delivery include: full day or multi-day workshops, on-campus incursions, or as term-long coding workshops during school hours. Discuss your preferences with us and we’ll work to match your preferences with our Corporate Partner sponsorships
