Welcome Lonnie!

Deadly Coders is proud to welcome Eylania (Lonnie) Naawi to the team as our new National Partnerships Manager

Eylania joined us in early 2025, bringing a wealth of experience in Indigenous youth engagement, school and community partnerships, and education-based initiatives. " I've been working with Indigenous youth for a while now, and bringing my experience in youth engagement, school partnerships, and community education to Deadly Coders has really aligned with my deeper goal—to support mob in meaningful ways. I'm passionate about creating spaces where young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people feel seen, heard, and supported. Whether it's through education, technology, or just being someone they can count on, I want to help them find opportunities that spark their interests and support their dreams. For me, it's all about empowering the next generation and making a positive, lasting impact."

Lonnie's role for Deadly Coders

In her role at Deadly Coders, Lonnie is responsible for leading and nurturing relationships with our valued partners, schools and community stakeholders across the country. Her work is instrumental in expanding access to our coding, robotics and cybersecurity programs for First Nations students, and in building new partnerships that open doors to opportunity and innovation.

Eylania’s unique combination of strategic thinking, on-the-ground experience, and community-first
approach aligns beautifully with Deadly Coders’ mission to close the digital divide and create long-

We’re thrilled to have her on board and can’t wait to see the positive impact she will make.
