Deadly Coders Quarterly Update - September 2025
Exploring AI Through Culture: Minecraft Education Incursions Roll Out Nationally
This month, the Deadly Coders team travelled to Darwin to deliver our Miniteno workshops at Wulagi Primary School and Karama Primary School, thanks to the generous support of our sponsor and partner, Schneider Electric.
Over two exciting days, students engaged in curriculum-aligned coding lessons working with PyE badges in a gamified way. They coded and prototyped their own games, downloaded them onto their badges, and got to play them. Best of all, every student kept their PyE badge to continue learning beyond the classroom.
The workshops also featured incredible support from Schneider Electric volunteers, who assisted in program delivery and shared guest presentations with the students. Their contributions inspired young learners and highlighted the importance of industry working alongside community to create opportunities.
We’re looking forward to delivering more workshops like these in the future!
